Mark DeLorean, John DeLorean's nephew is taking out petitions and will be running for Cuyahoga County Commissioner against Jane Campbell in 2000. The Cuyahoga County Commission has three members and is one of the most powerful political bodies in the Cleveland metropolitan area. Jane Campbell, a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives, is a Democrat. Mark DeLorean is a Republican, and active in the DeLorean Cadillac dealership. He will probably need to raise about 700,000 or more to have a chance of being successful.
