[DML] POLL: Are the factory Right-hand drive cars "original"?

In the Fall '99 issue of DeLorean World, David Knudson of the DOA states that the factory never produced any Right-Hand Drive cars. The argument centres around David's definition of "original". The cars are all conversions, but if the conversion was done for DMC, aren't the cars "original"?
