[DML] Re: Coolant overflow



The DeLorean has what is known as a surge tank and is pressured along with the radiator and coolong system... No overflow tank is on the system to catch the bleed from the pressure cap... If you keep the surge tank about 2/3 rd full, bleed over is normally not a problem, at least not with mine....

This is totally incorrect. Deloreans do, or are supposed to have, overflow
containers. The original was plastic and was prone to cracking, probably the
reason some Deloreans are sans container. The correct solution is to replace
the original plastic container with after market containers fabricated from
stainless steel.
