[DML] Re: Antenna Switcheroo

My auto antenna is located inside the air intake on the rear of the drivers side.  If you open the engine and look to the left you will see some bolts holding on an access pannel, if you remove it you will find plenty of room to insert your antenna.  You will have to figure out a way to position it so it will stay, and then when it comes up it will stick out of the air vent and retract into the vent when down.  Also when down it cannot be seen.  Hope this helps, I just had to replace mine last weekend- some idiot broke it before i bought the car- he opened the louvres then turned on the radio then closed the louvres---> on my antenna. *SNAP

good luck

Id just like to know if it would be possible to get one of the automatic
antennas into the right front fender spot. I know the manual one is
supposed to go there, but it would be so much cooler if I could get my D to
have an auto antenna. Thanks in advance.
