[DML] Door Key Blank ?

My ignition key is not the same as my door key though. My ignition key 
doesnt fit into the door at all and my lighted door key is much shorter than 
the ignition key. Would this be a seperate blank than a later model? I know 
there are two variations but my keys are totally cut different. My car is a
