A few years back I investigated the prospect of re-printing the book - I worked in the printing industry at the time - and located the original films used to create the plates that printed the book. The original year of publication was 1983, and it sold for $17.95. I was told by the original publishers that they printed 10,000 copies. I estimated it would take about $20,000 to reprint 1,300 books (1,000 softcover and 300 hardcover) using the original films. I had commitments for a little more than half that amount from various DML'ers before interest died out.
