I seam to remember some discussion about the LCD failure a while (probably 2 years or so) back.  You might want to search the archives...If memory serves, there is a wire ribbon that gets pinched and can cause this failure. 

 

Can anyone else confirm this (again just going from a pretty shaky memory)

Finally, I ran into a problem because the radio seems to work, but the
little LCD display doesn't. Has anyone else experienced this before,
and if so what was the problem (loose/broken connection somewhere,
etc). It is the original Delorean Craig radio.
