[DML] oil change

i'm now into two weeks of ownership of my delorean and it has been
great. since i haven't had the dcar long, i would like to do a little
maintance to ease my mind. what type of oil and oil filter would be
the best to use in an oil change. also i seem to have a small oil
leak. until i do the oil change, what would be that safest type of oil
to put in the enging until i do the change. the leak seems to be
comming from the bottom of the engine. excuse decription but it is
comming from the large bottom piece that has fins in it. what is this
called and what type of gasket should i ask for.
