Have you thought of buying a window switch and putting it in one of the two 
dummy positions in the center console? Actually, a rear defrost switch 
would be better but I remember those were hard to come by. Also, I wonder 
if anyone knows if the factory was planning to use these dummy switch slots 
for anything? Perhaps they were originally intended to hold switches to 
OPEN the doors? (ala Bricklin) Of course, I guess they could've also been 
for the oil slick and driver eject functions...

Ok...you're right..definately for the time circuits.
