[DML] Re: Clutch not releasing



Rust will do it. Usually it's rust on the input shaft of the transmission.
My Ford tractor does this every spring. I usually do essentially what you
did to release it. 

Just drive it regularly and the rust and the problem it caused will go
away. If you plan on having it apart at any time smear a light coat of
grease on the shaft in the area of the clutch and throwout bearing. Not too
much or it could work it's way onto the clutch plate and cause problems.
