[DML] Clutch Problems.

 Hi All,

I am experiencing a slipping clutch and have looked at all the part shops 
and the rough guide for a replacement clutch is approximately $350.00.

This in itself is not VERY VERY expensive but has anyone tracked
down a 'alternative part' .. maybe a Renault equivalent or does anyone
know if the manual gearbox was fitted to any other cars ??
(Heavyweight clutches become expensive when freighted to England).

I have also seen that the labour to get this installed is approx 7-10
hours !! (Is this true ??).
