If it's not metal, it's not an antenna. All antennas, by definition, are metal.

Where did you find this "key"? Did it come with the car? What sort of lock
does this key fit?

If it has a key to pull it out it's not a DeLorean antenna.

If it's a DeLorean antenna it should be a power antenna.

If it's a DeLorean antenna it should go up when the radio is turned on and down
when the radio is turned off.

If it's a broken DeLorean antenna it may no longer be a power antenna and may
not go up when the radio is turned on or down when the radio is turned off.

If it's a broken DeLorean power antenna there is no key to pull it out.

If it's a broken DeLorean power antenna there are replacements available.
No key required.
