[DML] Re: air conditioner

Hi, everybody,
My '81 D had an air conditioner that worked just fine. Then one day,...no 
more cool air. And no fan power.
I took it to my mechanic who does other good things for my D. After 
vacuuming the system, he attempted to put in the R-12 (thanks to all who 
recommended Freon) and said the gauge "rocketed". He thinks the system 
might be clogged.
Any input from the dmcnews "think tank" would be greatly appreciated.
