[DML] "Weird Windows" on my DeLorean handout

Hi all....I have this DeLorean pamphlet probably from a dealership (you know, 
one with the specs and all),and the picture on it has a different set of 
windows on the car. Instead of the small one that rolls down on all other 
DMC's I've been blessed to see, it has a vertical line seperating two panes 
of glass. (In the middle of course.) I'm just curious as to what that's all 
about? Was it a prototype car or what?
