I doubt www.delorean.com is anything official.

A quick PING will tell you that www.dmcnews.com is the same machine as
www.delorean.com. You dont even need to do that. Compare
http://www.dmcnews.com/ to http://www.delorean.com/ They are the same.

I sent James mail asking him about this a few weeks ago, but go no
reply.

Assuming that DMC Houston actually owns the "DeLorean" name, and James
works for them, there may be some connection that way. Maybe JDZ is
working with DMC Houston in some way?
