I use AVS Intermediates on the DeLorean and the Esprit. They
are very competent performance tires. I prefer them to the
original Goodyear NCTs (which happen to be original equipment
for the Esprit - go figure). I can't comment about ride vs your
Michelins as I have no experience with them, but it is comparable
to the NCTs.

Subject: [DML] New Yokohama tires
My DeLorean is going to need tires pretty soon. I have done a
considerable amount of searching, and it looks like the Yokohama AVS
Intermediate is one of the very few tires that fit both the front and
back. The sizes are 205x60-14 (oversized) for the front, and 235x60-15
(stock) for the back. www.tirerack.com is a great site to use for tire
hunting. My question is: Has anyone used these tires on his or her
car? How stiff does it ride? How well does it handle? Right now I
have Michelin Sport XGTs all around. These are not made anymore, and I
was wondering how the AVS compares in ride and handling. If anyone has
any comments on the AVS or any other high performance tire for the
DeLorean, please post.
