With regards Joe's comment: The accumulator/dryer crosses over to an 84
Corvette post Vin 3468 GM # 1131411. (He also included comments that he does
not know if this is true)

It is my understanding that there are two versions of the dryer used and
that there are two hose lengths/shapes. If this is so, the dryer mentioned
may not work on all cars. When I tried to find a cross for mine, I could
not match the shape of the tube on the dryer bottom. I have vehicle #897
