[DML] Re: Scirroccos, anyone?

Ariel,

I'm not suprised you like the Scirrocco- it was actually penned by the
same man (Giorgietto Guigaro). The lines are very similar and I considered
buying one in addition to my DeLorean for a while as a daily driver.
Guigaro (in my opinion) was an extremely talented stylist of the time and
worked for prestigious design firms like Ghia, before starting Ital
designs. In addition to the Scirrocco and DeLorean, he did other excellent
cars like the Lotus Espirit, couple Maseratis (Bora and Merak I believe)
and even the BMW M1 (which a few of the initial DeLorean drawings
resembled). Truly an amazing designer in my opinion- anyone have any
websites on him??
