Saw 2 cars at Eli's Foreign Car Specialists on University Avenue (Hillcrest
area) yesterday. The story is that both cars has just been sold from a
dealer on 5th Avenue to someone (or someplace) in Los Angeles. I'm
assuming the dealer was Affordable VIP Classics since I saw a car for sale
there about 2 months ago.
I checked out both cars but only have the VIN for the '81 - Vin #
2862. The other car was newer and had a grey interior but I don't recall
the VIN.
I don't know why they were at the garage or what was being done to them,
although I was curious, I had to get back to work.
BTW, if anyone needs any engine work in San Diego I highly reccomend
Eli's. I used to own #1534(?) and had it worked on a number of placesfrom
Ft.Lauderdale to San Diego and I can honestly say it NEVER ran better than it
did when I got it back from Eli's.
