I drove my 85 year old grandmother from AR to TN in my D (about 400+ miles). 
She was amazed at how good she felt after the trip. The interior takes a 
while to get used to, but after a few miles it fits like a glove. I agree 
with previous comments about the Delorean on long trips, lack of regular 
maintenance means seeing the country from the roadside. As with any 
automobile check it out BEFORE you leave home!!!
Mileage will vary according to how you drive. I averaged about 22 to 25 on 
the road with no ac on.
