The white relay completes the electrical circuit for the interior and door
lights. I suspect a PO removed it because of other problems, probably
battery drain. The obvious answer is to replace the relay.
The second alternative is to direct wire the circuit with a jumper wire in
the relay base socket. This will allow the door switches to turn the lights
on and off. I don't know right now what pins you will need to jumper, if you
need me to investigate further contact me offline.
