I've been using Cooper Cobra G/Ts since 2001 and I am very happy with them. They gave a smooth, quiet, comfortable ride on the long trips to Memphis, London (ON), and Pigeon Forge. They were a vast improvement over my then 20-year-old Goodyears. Of course I would recommend against using Cobras on a race track. They are not high performance tires. This discussion has already mentioned that Cobras are both reasonably priced and long-lasting. But one thing no one has mentioned is that Cobras have an aggressive look that suits the DeLorean well. The tread pattern is very similar to the Yoko AVS Intermediates, and the Cobra emblem on the sidewall looks sharp and even a little exotic. I was attracted to Cooper tires because they were headquartered in nearby Findlay, OH, and years ago their advertising assured that all their tires were made in the USA. However, I know the company has expanded and I have been unable to verify that the Cobra G/T is still made in a US facility. Can anyone can supply information about this? - Mike Substelny VIN 01280, 10 years To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
