I had a brand new air filter in my Windstar when i bought it and
replaced it with a brand new K+N air filter. Better off the line
response and 1 to 2 MPG difference so far. I could not tell you how
much HP i gained by doing this but it probably would be about 5 HP if i
had to guess. I have installed K+N filters in all of my cars with
noticeable difference's over the stock CLEAN air filters.
