I disagree to some extent, if you remove that very restrictive air 
filter housing with a more free flow unit you will notice a different. 
Hey i Supercharged my 5.0 with stock exhaust and i noticed a difference 
and then i upgraded the headers and exhaust and noticed more of a 
difference. I just added a K+N air filter to my 3.8 Windstar and could 
tell the difference.
