Dan,
You did not mention HOW it was stored/and if it still has the orignal
tranny fluid,this is just my thought, but you might have debris and
or build-up/gum build-up,possibly on the screen/valve-body ,what you
might want to consider is a thorough power-flushing,which SHOULD
force out any debris/build-up and clear-up the valve body/screen,as
that is where I suspect your problem stems from,more or less
varnish/gum build up is preventing the valve body from shifting "up".
Any decent garage should be able to do a Thorough power flush on your
auto tranny.
