[DML] Glue/cement for window trim

Hi there.

I have a few minor interior details that need to be taken care of on my DMC, and one of them is the inner fuzzy strip seals on both power windows.  The glue has just given up after 20+ years.

My first instincts are to replace the strips (they're in fine shape) using contact cement.  Is there something better?
