[DML] Re: Coolant leak under manifold ... but where?

Nick - You need to check all around the hoses ... one of mine
developed an aneurism right at the bottom where you couldn't really
see it or feel it very well. Also, the small pipe has been known to
develop pinhole leaks from corrosion so the rust might have blown
through someplace. Lastly, I worked on a local car that had a
chronic coolant loss that had eventually led the owner to throw the
car in a barn. After we rescued it, we found out that one of the
attachment bolts for the Y pipe to the right head had corroded
through, but the bolt head was still sitting there. The leak was
from that joint. Things are not always as they seem to be.
