[DML] Quick question

Last night, I change my spark plugs.  The engine was
immediately different in terms of power, but not
necessarily for the better.  Acceleration was much
improved, but my idle became rather high.  1200-1500
in drive idling, 2500-3000+ when placed into park.  I
noticed that the accelerator pedal has become ULTRA
tight, no looseness whatsoever.  It's almost lower
than the brake pedal it's so tight.  Can anyone
explain to me how to loosen the throttle (in effect,
the accelerator)?
