[DML] Painting the fibreglass?

Hi, while i have my body off and access is great i was going to take 
the oppotunity to paint the fibreglass in the engine bay/ 
gards/underbody etc.... Not sure if it is painted already or if it's 
just a black gel coat, but the black is a little uneven and looks 
old. I was thinking of spraying it with a black underbody paint 
either a bitchumen or rubberbased one that needs no priming. Has 
anyone ever used these products or any other suggestions would be 
appreciated.
