Bill I had faith in you that you couldn't just *partially*
disassemble a fuel/air mix unit! ;) Ok so it seems it is time to
take mine apart and see what I can find in there. Now that I know
this is not a screw that I can simply walk into Home Depot and
replace combined with me going out of town for a week and not needing
my car for transport I have the opportunity to take her out of
service. I'll let you all know what I find and Bill I may be buying
project #1002 from you! Right now my car runs excessively rich, to
the point where your eyes burn from the fumes and the gas mileage is
well below 19MPG, perhaps at or below 10MPG. She is getting much
closer though. Turns out my idle micro screw wasn't being triggered
by the screws due to their not being tight and backing themselves
out. All is good in the world of vacuum advance now.
