Maybie its cause the DMC logo is owned by Delorean Motor Company and 
they dont want to pay trademark fees??  Look at the PL BTTF model it 
does not have it either.. Or like your sunstar DeLorean box says on 
the bottom...

"The DMC logo is a registered trademark of DeLorean Motor Company
(Texas) and is used with permission."

This is a ad so they probably did not ask for permission.
