I've heard from Don Steger that most delorean dizzy's only have one 
spring. I've seen them with two, and one, and on the ones with one, no 
evidence of a broken spring. We had one customer with serious running 
problems at 4800rpm+ Adding the missing spring cured the problem.

For the record, it's not the same as the one for the other weight, and 
it's not a case that "any old spring will do".

We've fitted several Volvo dizzys to replace the DeLorean ones. They all 
have different weights and ALL have two springs.
