Have you ever replaced the handbrake cables? They can prevent the
calipers retracting properly and will cause the pads to rub. This in
turn can generate excessive heat and warp the discs - usually they only
squeak once they've got pretty hot.
In my own experience, really squealy brakes (main ones), are best
approached by new pads and discs at the same time. We've also had
excellent results using kevlar pads for the handbrake, but it might be
an avenue for the main pads too.
