Check fuse #12.
Does the glovebox light work, this is on the same circuit.
Are your door switches hooked up correctly.
Pull one of the lights down and check for voltage, find a good ground connection first, maybe under dash by hood release.
The purple wire should be hot always.
The purple/white wire comes from the switch delay unit.
