[DML] incorrect VIN

I'm trying to run a carfax report on VIN SCEDT26T6DD016911, however 
it says the VIN is invalid.  The year of the delorean is 1983, and 
it's currently for sale on ebay.  I checked the VIN on a delorean 
website, and it seems to be correct.  HELP!
