...not really. The FanZilla is a really neat idea that has a lot more functionality than the "FanFix". They both correct the weak spots in the fan controlling electrics, but the FanZilla is a cleverer piece of kit... ...but not as clever as it could be, IMO. Bob Zilla never did get back to me on the subject of the FanZilla detecting an open circuit (which happened to me, and others).
