I had the same problems. Try John's idea from a previous reply. What
sounds like to me is that it runs rough until your O2 sensor kicks
in. Adjusting your mixter screw would solve this problem. And once
your O2 sensor does kick in, your idle speed motor will adjust to
allow the proper air flow for 900rpm.
