No tool needed or nothing special that you couldn't make on your own. Been there, did this. Seal is still ok after 10k miles. Elvis List, the shop manual says you need a special tool to insert the front main crankshaft oil seal (the one with the pulley on it by the muffler). is this really necessary, and if it is, where do i obtain this tool, how much is it, or does someone on the list have one i can borrow? i would pay expenses.
