I place a wide flat piece of lumber I keep handy just for jacking up the Delorean and place it on my floor jack on the piece if frame right in front of the oil pan. The you just jack it up. I use cloths on my jackstands to prevent any chipping of the epoxy as an extra preventative. There may be other methods, but that method works the eastiet for me.
