Dave, The guage will get as high as 220 if I let it. I would shut it down at that point for fear of overheating it. Today it was just 68 F. and the needle got to within a needles width of 220, then I turned on the AC and it cooled down. The coolong system seems to be in good shape, the vehicle has 7400 miles but appears to have been well maintained bythe PO.
