Canadian Television Network Mogul Moses Znaimer
Owner of much music, city tv, bravo, etc!!
I seen it myself at the 1997 much music video awards .. he and Master T
(much music VJ) drove up in it!
Really interesting!
OH as well .. as soon as I become famous.. you can mark me down as a
famous person owning a D :-)

Does anyone have the info that was on here a while back, where someone

Russia had an addition to the Need For Speed program where he added the
DeLorean to the stable of cars. I am not sure which version it was
either.
I have NFS III but would get a later if need be. I am not into gaming,

Thank you to everyone who responded to me. I finally purchased one
from Walter Coe. (Sorry I lost track of email and ended up sending
payment late.) :( I want to point out that I discovered as part of
this that this part seems to have a HIGH FAILURE rate. This
concerns me greatly. I examined both the LH and RH brackets. The
LH bracket is of thinner metal than the RH one which may be why it
breaks. They all may be breaking in the same place at first (near
the middle hole where the metal is just 1/2" wide). One person
mentioned that it might be caused by too much play in the rubber
frame mount, and I found extra play in mine so replaced it. I am
considering having a new stronger bracket fabricated (if it's not
too expensive) since with the extra power I have I'm worried this
new replacement will eventually break as well. CHECK YOUR MANUAL
FRONT LH TRANSMISSION MOUNTS very carefully because there can easily
be a small crack that is not easy to see!

When I got my D the headlinings were in a pretty bad state, torn and
discoloured, so I decided to completely recover them myself.
I found a classic car material supplier in the UK and they supplied me
with material with a foam backing that is almost an exact match for the
original material.
I then removed the original material and used these as templates for
cutting new pieces. Removing the original foam was a bit of a job as
its difficult not to damage the 'card' backing. But with a lot of time
and the use of a little white spirit and an old toothbrush I managed to
remove it all.
It was then simply a case of glueing the new material in place. I was
told by the people who supplied the material that spray glue isn't
usually strong enough for headliners but they supplied me with a tin of
liquid glue that was suitable.
The most difficult panels to cover, without wrinkling the material, are
the two that go in the doors but with a bit of patience this isn't a
problem.

I've had an annoying "chirping" sound coming from (I think) one of my
wheels for awhile now, one of the rear ones I believe. It only develops
after driving for awhile but it goes away when I break. Any idea on what
this could be? A bearing? Something wrong with my breaks?

I have just done a really dumb thing, and need some serious suggestion of
help before I permanently injure myself.
Whilst sorting my brake system with new pads I had replaced the front and
removed the rear drivers side. I was the distracted by a visitor for a few
minutes. The next thing I did, don't ask me why, I got in the car an put
my foot on the brake pedal to feel the travel.
yep the rear pistons closed right up to the disc. And now I can't get them
back in to put in the new pads.
I have tried absolutely every thing I can think of and they seem to be
solid stuck.
Can they come out too far and not go back in?? Is there an easy way to
get them back in, Or is it a case of taking the whole damn calliper off,
if so how do I do that??

Hello everyone,
My new DeLorean has some hail damage across the hood and on
top of the doors and t-panel. Luckily all the dents are a small
diameter, and are extremely shallow. I was wondering what the
preferred method of removing the dents was, and if someone could
give me some detailed intructions on how to remove them. If this
isn't something that my father and I should tackle, does anyone

Hi Jeremy,
I had that same problem on my DeLorean. To fix it, I took off the
lenses, went into
my work's prototyping paint lab, mixed up some translucent orange paint
and shot it
quickly with a professional paint gun. Very tricky, in that you have to
use just the
right amount of thinner to make the paint translucent. The wrong
proportions will either
give you a bad "fish eye" effect, or it won't be clear enough. I'll have
to look at my
mixture again to give you figures on those proportions though.
I tried a few other things, like generic model paint and even markers,
but those
weren't permanent solutions. So far the orange has lasted through a year
of meticulous
car washes and even "armor-all-zation" without showing any signs of aging.
