I would suggest contacting DMC Houston at www.delorean.com
They sell DeLoreans all the time and they are the largest DeLorean dealer
out there. They should be able to work with your insurance comp. to determine
the actual value of the car.

worst moment in My Hubby's ownership of his 1981 Delorean happenned last
night. As he drove home with our 5 year old daughter, the engine caught
fire. They both are safe, but the car is a total loss. A million
worst-case scenarios did NOT happen, and we are thankful. But reality is
hitting. Now we are faced with proving it's worth to the insurance adjuster.
This has been a very emotional event that only other owners would
understand, so please refrain from any hindsight is 20/20 type remarks, but we
do hope for some help.
