  If I recall correctly- it's been a while- my lighter light comes on with the headlights. I had the dealer move the climate control panel lighting wire from the ignition switch to the panel dimmer switch shortly after purchase. I believe the entire console illumination can be controlled from there.           Drive Stainless      (and illuminated)      Robert   VIN  6924
