Under the spare tire there is a panel you can remove to get to the fuel pump.  On 2 cars now, I have seen were the connector for the fuel pump just needs to be cleaned and tightened (stick a small pick in the connector and bend the metal in a little)
before doing that, check the inertia switch is not tripped (near the drivers feet).
