  It is a relatively simple fix. My brother installed a much heavier duty ribbon-wire to the read-out door. Makes it swing a bit stiffer, but it is MUCH tougher. Mine works great after all these years.     BTW, great to meet you in person, Marc.           Drive Stainless     Robert   VIN  6924
