We have had two gorgeous mid 80's Lotus Turbo Esprits at DMC Northwest, 
and I can say without hesitation that the windshields are NOT 
interchangeable.  It is very easy to verify this when the cars are 
standing side by side.

BTW - For those who want to know, 2.2 liters with a good turbocharger 
will rock your world.  It is incredible what Lotus has wrung out of 
four tiny pistons and a blower.
