Group, I have been looking around for the absolute most quiet touring-type tires for my Delorean. I don't need super handling ability. As we know, this is not really an option these days for the rears at 235. But, in looking at the 225 size, Copper has a tire called the CS4 Touring H/V that, on the quiet scale, it is the most quiet, while other characteristics are somewhat less, but not awful. And, the same tire is available for the front. What do you think? Or, is there another manufacturere that sells a quiet/smooth riding touring tire? It is hard to compare "quietness" scales, of course, so it is all a bit of a guess. But within a manufacturer, you would think that the ratings would be useful. There is also the assumption that quiet means smooth-riding, but that may not be so either. steve liggett #5983 ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
