Later cars have molded "corners" at the base of the windscreen which 
have not been reproduced in the aftermarket seals.My silicone ones are 
the best, obviously :-)
Unless stored in extremely specific conditions, original 
weatherstripping will be porous and prone to tearing - I've seen the 
effect within a year in some NOS ones bought in 2003 from DMCH. They now 
sell reproductions.
