Hi Guy's,
Chris is correct that the 15 year rule applies but thats is only in
Western Australia i believe. The rest on the country generally
speaking has a 30 year rule. I believe some people in Victoria drive
the cars as LHD on club plates but they must be on a club event and
carry log books etc to prove it.
I personally live in Sydney and the 30 year rule applies (as in QLD
also i think)so i had to convert my car to RHD. The last one that was
done was by a company called PR Technologies and i am told they did a
superb job and i am guessing you would be around the $30k AUD mark.
I also (a personal choice) dont want to drive a LHD car on RHD roads.
So to get a reasonbale DeLorean form the states say $20 000 USD you
would be looking at around $60 000 AUD by the time you have imported
it and had a professional RHD conversion.
Contact me if you need any further info.

David, you're wrong on this one.

"?and was manufactured more than 15 years ago, it may be possible to
register it without the need for a right hand drive conversion. It
must
however be intended for personal use only."

Kind regards,
