I probably due more long distance trips in my DeLorean than anybody. 400/500 miles is a
breeze. I have often done the 720 miles from my home to Las Vegas. 600 of that is
Interstate. I also have a number of friends in an informal club called the DeLorean Touring
Society and we do anywhere from 400 to 800 miles in a day, depending upon the roadas
and speed limits.
If you are able to pick up the parts rather quicly, a 660 mile trip should not be all that
difficult. However, having said all this, distance traveled is certainly a matter of personal
preference. I love to drive. I also love to take road trips in the
DeLorean. But, I know many (almost all younger than me) who do not like long trips in the
DeLorean. Hmmmm, maybe it is a reverse age thing ;-)
